The University of Michigan MDP Program is a yearlong program where students work on a project with sponsorship and mentorship from companies. One of the companies involved is Riot Games, who were seeking to build a system that implements continuous monitoring for critical business rules and that is easily extensible so that the Riot InfoSec team can continue to leverage the framework to continue adding new rules. The system is used by the teams to monitor a dashboard that flags when something unexpected happens.
